Fall into healthy eating with this simple, seasonal vinaigrette for steamed green vegetables, salads and hearty whole grains.

Maple Apple Cider Dressing

Ingredients:

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO with a light pour and peppery finish is ideal for a dressing.)

1/4 teaspoon kosher, sea or Maldon salt

Black pepper to taste

Pinch of turmeric spice

Method:

Whisk oil, vinegar, Dijon and maple syrup. Season with salt, pepper and turmeric, and whisk all ingredients together.

With a ball jar, simply toss all ingredients into the jar. Screw on lid and shake!
